Beechfield Rental Agreement
These terms are deemed accepted by the Renter upon delivery of the rented product to the Renter.
All rentals are charged at a weekly rate (7 days). The initial rental period is charged in advance. A refundable deposit may be required on some products. The Renter will be advised of this prior to their rental. The Renter shall keep and maintain the rented equipment during the terms of the rental at his/her own cost and expense. Rental products can only be used within the Republic of Ireland. It is not possible to take rental products on airplanes. It is agreed that they will keep the equipment in a good state of repair, with normal wear and tear accepted. Beechfield Rentals may terminate this agreement immediately upon the failure of Renter to make rental payments when due, or upon Renter filling for protection from creditors in any court of competent jurisdiction.
It is possible for the Renter to extend the rental period. If the Renter wishes to extend the rental it must be done by contacting Beechfield Rentals on 1890 989 353. Additional charges will need to be paid in advance. Please note: products are charged by the week. No allowance will be made for any rented equipment or portion thereof which is claimed not to have been used.
If the rental product is not returned to Beechfield Rentals on the agreed date, it will be seen that the Renter will have extended the rental period and the Renter will automatically be charged for an additional week. Beechfield Rentals will continue to charge weekly until the rental product is returned to us.
Delivery & Collection
A delivery and collection fee applies to all rentals. Next working day delivery is available on most products. Orders need to be placed by 12 noon to guarantee next day delivery. There is no delivery and collection service available on weekends or bank holidays. The amount varies depending on the product rented. All delivery and collection charges will be highlighted at the time of booking. Delivery and collection will be organised by Beechfield Rentals and agreed with the Renter. For any products delivered by courier the Renter must ensure that the rental product is returned in the original packaging supplied. If the original packing is not used, our courier service may refuse to collect the package. Any delays in collection may result in additional rental charges to the Renter.
We can deliver to hotels or 3rd party addresses however the renter must ensure that there is someone authorised to sign for the product. If delivery /collection is refused, we reserve the right to charge an additional delivery charge and/or an additional rental charge if this causes a delay in collecting the product.
Beechfield Rentals will endeavor to meet requests for specific product models however we reserve the right to substitute for an alternative similar model. Any alternative products will meet or exceed the specifications of any product promoted on our website. For bookings that occur within 48 hours from order, please contact us to confirm availability. In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfill your rental due to unavailability of stock you will be informed by email and/or by phone as soon as possible. If alternative dates do not suit we reserve the right to cancel the booking and refund any fees paid.
Rental charges are charged on a weekly basis. Beechfield Rentals reserve the right to amend pricing structures without notice. Prices quoted at time of booking however are guaranteed. Your credit card details will be stored securely and any extension to your booking or damage to the rental product will be charged to your card. You will be informed by email of any additional charges to your card.
The Renter is responsible for ensuring that the rental product is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines and does not cause a risk to any person or property. Where fitted, safety belts and safety features must be adhered to.
The Renter shall pay Beechfield Rentals full compensation for replacement and/or repair of any equipment which is not returned because it is lost or stolen, or any equipment which is damaged and in need of repair. Beechfield Rentals will invoice the Renter with the full cost for replacement or repair. If the product is damaged in any way the Renter should stop using the product immediately. The Renter also needs to inform Beechfield Rentals immediately about any loss or damage to the rental product. If a boot scooter is supplied the Renter agrees that this product cannot be used on the roads due to the lack of indicators and mirrors. Any damage from road use will be charged to the Renter.
Beechfield Rentals will not be held liable for any personal damage or personal injury that occurs during the rental period.
Retention of Ownership
All rental products remain the property of Beechfield Rentals t/a Beechfield Healthcare at all times.
The Renter shall allow Beechfield Rentals to enter the Renter’s premises where the rented equipment is stored or used at all reasonable times to locate and inspect the state and condition of the rented equipment.
If the Renter is in default of any of the terms and conditions of this agreement, Beechfield Rentals, and our agents, at the Renter’s risk, cost and expense may at any time enter the Renter’s premises where the rented equipment is stored or used at all time and recover the rented equipment.
Beechfield Rentals makes no warranty of any kind regarding the rented equipment, except that we shall replace the equipment with identical or similar equipment if the equipment fails to operate in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and operation instructions. Such replacement shall be made as soon as practicable after Renter returns the non-conforming equipment.
The Renter shall pay all reasonable legal and other fees, expenses and costs incurred by Beechfield Rentals in protection of its rights under this rental agreement and for any action taken by Beechfield Rentals to collect any amounts due to us under this rental agreement.
